Vydehi Falls

Vydehi Falls are known to be one of the beautiful places in Tamil Nadu. This place is famous for it's smooth sloppy rocks that offer a picturesque sight of the mountain ranges. It's important to know that one needs to seek permission from the forest authority to visit the region. Also, make sure you take a forest guard along as the region is home to various wild animals.

It is a fine place where the water flows gently over the sloppy rocks that has a smooth surface for a gliding experience. It is located on the west side on the Western Ghats region about 35 kms from this Coimbatore city.

Located near the Narasipuram village in the Siruvani main road, its just an hours drive from the city. We have to walk for about 15 to 20 minutes through the forests from the check post to reach the falls. There is public transport only till Narasipuram village. Hence its advisable to make transport by your own. It falls under the forest jurisdiction and hence proper permission is to be sought from the concerned authorities before entering this area. Since there are plenty of wild animals, it is advised that visitors take the assistance of forest guards and go along with them for safe passage and return. It involves quite a distance of walking inside the jungle in order to reach this beautiful place of interest.
